On Vibrations

A beloved friend on Discord once said:

Low vibrations in sound can be very calming, grounding, and soothing. Low vibration means less movement, which we all need sometime–so why are people so hung up on low vibrations being evil and heavy?

Gosh, this, this, absolutely this. Putting aside the Kybalion's whole insistence that high vibrations are always better, and its insistence (not paradoxical, just dumb) that "the All" is of such a high vibration it "practically appears at rest" (so we should just accept an illusion due to our limited ability of perception as itself truth?), if you want high vibrations, microwave your food or sit on a subwoofer.

Considering "high vibration" to be equivalent to ascension is like thinking high temperatures are the same thing as high spice levels, making them both "hot", but the word here has two distinct uses! But also, considering Hermeticism's notion about movement and motion being bound up in affliction and passion, with the result that God is immovable—both not moving and not able to be moved? This would make God the lowest-vibration thing possible, the absolute zero.

As for "stillness not actually being still, requiring a great amount of discipline and concentration", like...that's still stillness. If you consider the high frequency of fire and flame, then consider nirvana, literally "extinguishing".
